Advance booking opens for Vikram's 'Thangalaan' in Kerala

The much-anticipated Tamil film Thangalaan, starring superstar Vikram and directed by the acclaimed Pa Ranjith, is set for a worldwide release on 15th August.

Advance bookings for the film began on Sunday in Kerala. The film is being distributed in the state by Gokulam Gopalan's Sree Gokulam Movies.

In light of the recent landslide disaster in Wayanad, the Kerala promotions for Thangalaan were cancelled. Sree Gokulam Movies, in collaboration with Studio Green, announced that the funds allocated for the promotion would be donated to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner, Thangalaan features Malayalam stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan in the female lead roles. Pasupathy also plays a pivotal character in the film. Having received a U/A certificate from the censor board, Thangalaan is all set for a grand release in Kerala.

The film's music is composed by Tamil hitmaker and National Award winner GV Prakash Kumar, with cinematography by Kishor Kumar, editing by Selva RK, art direction by SS Murthy, and stunts choreographed by Stunner Sam. The distribution partner for the film is Dream Big Films, with PRO handled by Sabari.
