Katrina Kaif’s fanpage shut down after actress stays silent on CJP protests: ‘You do not have spine’

Katrina Kaif’s silence on the ongoing CJP protests has triggered a sharp reaction from a section of her fanbase, with one popular fan account announcing that it is shutting down after years of supporting the actor.
The Instagram page ‘katholic_fans’, which has more than 70,000 followers, announced its decision on Tuesday. The account admin said they no longer wanted to support someone who, according to them, had not spoken up for Indian students protesting in New Delhi over the NEET exam paper leak.
In a strongly worded statement, the fanpage said it had supported Katrina Kaif for years but felt let down by her silence on the issue. The administrator also accused the actor of not speaking against the government and said they were ending their association with the fanpage.

The reaction was not unanimous. Some of Katrina Kaif’s fans defended the actor, arguing that she has the right to decide which issues she wants to support publicly.
