Kangana Ranaut says 'At his age, I had two National Awards', hitting back at CJP's Saurav Das

Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has found herself in the middle of another public face-off, this time with Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das.
What began as criticism over her remarks on the CJP-led student protests has now turned into a sharp exchange of personal jibes, with both sides taking aim at each other in public.
The latest round unfolded after Das criticised Kangana's comments on the protests, calling them inappropriate. Responding to clips from the interview on her Instagram Stories, Kangana fired back with a series of pointed remarks directed at the CJP spokesperson.
Referring to Das, Kangana wrote that she had searched for his background and questioned how the 28-year-old described himself as a student.
She then compared her own journey to his, saying she had already built a successful career by the same age.
"Yes, I am in politics for the past two years, but I have been in public life for the last 20 years. At his age, I had two National Awards."
Kangana added that balancing her responsibilities as a parliamentarian alongside her work as a filmmaker, performing artist and producer left her with little time, contrasting it with what she described as Das' situation.
Calling him "totally useless and unemployed," she wrote that people who are not engaged in demanding work would not understand what it means to constantly juggle multiple responsibilities.

She ended the post with another direct message aimed at Das.
"Dear Saurav, your issues are personal, you are not a student, you are simply useless, let's start with learning some skill. It's a good place to start."
What Saurav Das Said
Kangana's response came after Das dismissed her remarks while speaking to ANI. He said he did not believe people from younger generations took the actor-politician seriously.

According to Das, even members of her own political party do not pay much attention to her statements. He also claimed that Gen Z had contributed more to the country than Kangana and continued to do so.
How the dispute began
The exchange stems from the controversy surrounding Kangana's comments on the CJP-led student protests over the NEET paper leak issue. Her remarks drew criticism from opposition leaders as well as student groups, with Das emerging as one of the prominent voices challenging her statements.
