Kalidas Jayaram and Tarini recently celebrated their mehndi and sangeet ceremonies following their wedding in Guruvayur. The festivities, which took place in Chennai over the past few days, were attended by close family and friends.

The wedding ceremony on Sunday was held between 7:15 and 8. 00 am. Afterwards, Jayaram and his family made their way back to Chennai. The mehndi celebration followed on Monday, where the family performed an aarti and invited Tarini to their home. The Sangeet, a lively music celebration, was also held the previous day, adding to the joyous occasion. The wedding reception was arranged on Wednesday, concluding the week of celebrations.

Kalidas recently shared a video from the mehndi ceremony on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the celebration. The video captioned "Henna & Happiness", features the bride and groom, along with family members and guests, dancing to energetic Punjabi music. The highlight of the video shows Jayaram, dressed in a turban, dancing with exceptional enthusiasm. A still from this moment had already been shared by Kalidas on Instagram on Tuesday, marking his father Jayaram's 60th birthday.

For the mehndi celebration, Tarini wore a pastel pink lehenga, while Kalidas looked dashing in a pistachio-coloured sherwani. Malavika chose a light violet velvet gown for the occasion.

The sangeet ceremony also marked a special milestone, as it coincided with Jayaram's 60th birthday celebration. Notably, Vijay Yesudas, Aparna Balamurali were also in attendance, adding to the star-studded affair.
