‘Don’t behave like animals’: Kailash Kher stops Gwalior concert as crowd turns unruly | WATCH

Renowned singer and Padma Shri awardee Kailash Kher stopped his live concert in Gwalior midway after the crowd turned unruly, with several people jumping over barricades and rushing towards the stage.
The incident took place on Thursday at the Gwalior Mela Grounds, where Kher was performing to celebrate Tabla Day and Gwalior Gaurav Diwas. As the crowd swelled and security barriers were breached, the singer paused his performance to address the audience directly.
Videos from the venue, now circulating on social media, show people climbing barricades and running toward the stage, raising safety concerns for the artist and his team.
Visibly upset, Kher warned the audience in Hindi, saying, “Humne aapki prashansa ki aur aap itna jaanwargiri kar rahe hain. Janwargiri mat kariye please... Agar koi humare instruments ya equipment ke paas aaya, toh hum show band kar denge”
(We are praising you, and you are behaving like animals. Please don’t do that. If anyone comes near our instruments or equipment, we will stop the show.)
The singer’s firm message helped bring the situation under control, allowing the event to continue without further disruption.
This is not the first time Kailash Kher has faced such incidents during live performances. In 2023, his concert in Karnataka was disrupted after two men allegedly threw a water bottle at him on stage.
