The makers of ‘Jana Nayagan’ are still keeping quiet about the release date, but several exhibitors and ticketing platforms seem to have jumped the gun.

After recently receiving its CBFC certification with an A rating, the film has started appearing with a July 24 release date across multiple overseas cinema chains. Ticketing platform District has also promoted the same date, adding further fuel to the speculation.

Some fans believe the film could even arrive a day earlier on July 23, although there has been no official word from KVN Productions.

Even without a formal announcement from the makers, the excitement around the film is clearly visible. Reports say advance bookings have already opened in several international markets, with thousands of tickets being booked within minutes.

District also described the release as Vijay's "one last First Day", a nod to the actor's 34-year journey in cinema and his 68-film career.

If the reported release plans stay unchanged, ‘Jana Nayagan’ may reach cinemas just days before ‘Sigma’, which is currently scheduled to release on July 31.

Jason Sanjay recently began using the professional name Jason Sanjay S instead of Jason Sanjay V, reportedly dropping the initial linked to his father.

The move quickly became a talking point online. Many social media users speculated that the "S" represents his mother, Sangeetha Sornalingam.

The discussion also coincided with ongoing rumours surrounding Vijay and Sangeetha's relationship, although neither has commented publicly on the reports.
