Tamil composer-actor GV Prakash Kumar and singer Saindhavi, who announced their separation in May after 11 years of marriage, recently shared the stage at a music event in Malaysia. The duo performed their iconic song Pirai Thedum from the 2011 film Mayakkam Enna, with Saindhavi singing and GV Prakash accompanying on the piano. The video of their performance quickly went viral on social media.

Ahead of the event, during rehearsals, Saindhavi sent their daughter, Anvi, to GV Prakash on stage. The composer embraced his daughter and sang for her, a heartwarming moment that also garnered much attention online.

GV Prakash and Saindhavi, childhood friends who later fell in love, tied the knot in 2013. They welcomed their daughter in 2020. Despite their separation, their recent collaboration displayed mutual respect and professionalism.

GV Prakash, nephew of AR Rahman, entered the music industry by singing in the film Gentleman. He has since excelled as a composer, actor, and producer. Saindhavi, a classical singer, began performing at the age of 12 and has sung several Tamil hits, including collaborations with GV Prakash.
