Vettaiyan deleted scene: Fahadh Faasil recreates Rajinikanth's iconic dialogue | WATCH

Vettaiyan, starring Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil, has been enjoying a successful run in theatres since its release on October 10.

Recently, the makers shared a deleted scene featuring Fahadh Faasil as Patrick, who delivers Rajinikanth's iconic dialogue from the blockbuster 'Muthu'. The scene, which involves Patrick and Ritika Singh’s character Roopa, has garnered significant attention on social media.

“Patrick’s fanboy moment hits differently in this unseen video, as he recreates Thalaivar’s legendary dialogue!” says the post shared by the makers. Fans were quick to express their excitement over the footage, with many questioning why it wasn't included in the theatrical release.

One user commented, "It would have been a blast if it had been added," while another urged, "Release an uncut version on OTT, please! They removed all the wholesome scenes for no reason."

Additionally, some fans called for a reunion between Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil, envisioning a collaboration in a Tamil remake of Breaking Bad. "Superstar Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil need to reunite again soon!" one user exclaimed. The enthusiasm surrounding the deleted scene highlights the strong fanbase eager for more from these beloved actors.

Helmed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions, the star-studded film also ensemble included Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and Abhirami.

In Vettaiyan, Amitabh plays a character named Sathyadev. In the film, his dialogue, "Justice delayed is justice denied; justice hurried is justice buried," indicates his opposition to encountering killings.

'Vettaiyan' marks Lyca Productions' thirtieth venture and serves as Amitabh Bachchan's debut in Tamil cinema. Anirudh Ravichander serves as the music composer for the film.
