Exclusive! 'Nothing is bigger than our country...' Rajkummar Rao reacts on action against Pakistan artists

Even as social media accounts of Pakistani artists continue to be withheld in India in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao has expressed his support for the move.
While promoting his upcoming film 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Rajkummar stated that he stands with whatever decision the country has made.
When asked by Mathrubhumi English to react on the matter, the actor, who is known for his nuanced works, said, "Whatever we decide as a country... we are with our country. We have said it before also that 'desh se bada kuch nahi hai' (nothing is bigger than our country). Whatever we have decided together as a nation, we all have to be in together."
Amidst ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, several Instagram handles of Pakistani artists including Fawad Khan, Atif Aslan, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan have been withheld in India. Previously, accounts of Mahira Khan and others also saw similar action. When accessed, their Instagram pages came with the note, "Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content."
