No, Dwayne Johnson did not have 'two babies': Lauren Hashian shuts down rumours

Lauren Hashian, singer-songwriter and wife of Hollywood star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has dispelled a wave of online speculation after a series of AI-generated images falsely suggested the couple had expanded their family. The digitally fabricated photos, which appeared alongside bogus news posts, rapidly circulated across social media over the weekend, prompting Hashian to respond directly.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, the 41-year-old reshared several of the misleading posts, with a healthy dose of humour. “Because I thought we'd all enjoy a good Sunday laugh,” she wrote, making it clear she was amused rather than alarmed by the situation.
Hashian mocks AI baby claims on Instagram
Hashian highlighted one fabricated news article that featured an AI-generated image of her and Johnson holding a baby. Over the altered picture, she wrote: “Apparently I had a new baby in Miami!”
She then followed it with an even more exaggerated AI creation, this time showing the couple with two infants. “Make that TWO! I had TWO BABIES!!,” she joked.
The couple share daughters Jasmine, 10, and Tiana, 8, while Johnson is also father to Simone, 24, from his previous marriage to Dany Garcia.
A long-standing, low-profile partnership
Johnson and Hashian first crossed paths in 2006 and began a relationship the following year, eventually marrying in 2019. Despite Johnson’s global fame, the pair have largely maintained a private family life, occasionally offering glimpses of their bond on social media or at public events.
In 2022, Johnson, 53, shared a particularly emotional moment on Instagram, a video of himself holding his two younger daughters as Hashian performed the US National Anthem at SoFi Stadium ahead of an NFL game. “Me holding my babies tight, while their mama sings a powerful and inspiring National Anthem to 70,000 strong at SoFi Stadium, will go down as one of the greatest and most moving moments of my life,” he wrote at the time.
The actor added that although his daughters were too young to grasp the significance of the moment, “It's my job to explain it and teach them one day and as their father I can't wait.”
A rare red-carpet appearance
Earlier this year, the couple made a rare public appearance at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, walking the red carpet hand in hand before the 83rd ceremony. Johnson opted for a classic black tuxedo, while Hashian wore a gold dress.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Johnson said, “I've got my beautiful wife with me, and I'm lucky. I got my girls at home watching. My oldest daughter's here. My family's here. So I'm happy.”
