Dulquer Salmaan posts family photos with PM Modi after Mammootty's Padma Bhushan honour

Dulquer Salmaan accompanied his father, Mammootty, as the veteran actor received the Padma Bhushan from President Droupadi Murmu at the second investiture ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on June 23.
Joining Mammootty for the prestigious occasion were his wife Sulfath Kutty, daughter Kutty Surumi, daughter-in-law Amal Sufiya, and son Dulquer Salmaan. Dulquer later shared a series of photographs from the ceremony, including family pictures with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He captioned his post, "An absolute privilege to meet and spend time with our Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji as we witnessed my father, Shri Mammootty being honoured for a lifetime of extraordinary work. A truly unforgettable day for our family."
Reacting to the announcement, the actor spoke about the emotional significance of the recognition. Speaking to Mathrubhumi News, Mammootty said, "Santosham, athi santhosham... there is nothing bigger than the honour from the country."
This year, the President approved 131 Padma Awards, comprising five Padma Vibhushan, 13 Padma Bhushan and 113 Padma Shri honours. Announced annually on Republic Day, the awards recognise exceptional contributions across fields including art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, literature and education, medicine, sports, trade and industry, and civil service.
