Dhurandhar actor Nadeem Khan arrested after domestic worker alleges decade‑long sexual abuse

Mumbai: Actor Nadeem Khan, last seen in the film Dhurandhar, has been arrested following allegations that he repeatedly sexually assaulted a domestic worker over nearly ten years, allegedly under the false promise of marriage, Mid-day reported.

The 41-year-old victim approached Versova police after Khan allegedly refused to marry her, prompting the complaint. Police said the offences reportedly occurred at the actor’s residence in Malwani, leading to the case being transferred from Versova to the Malwani police station for investigation.

According to the Mid-day report, in her complaint, the woman stated that she began working at Khan’s residence around 2015 and entered into a physical relationship with him after he allegedly assured her of marriage. She claimed the relationship continued for years, with sexual encounters taking place at both her residence and Khan’s home in Versova.

The complainant told authorities she continued the relationship in the belief that Khan would eventually marry her, but approached the police after he reneged on his promise. The woman has previously worked as a domestic worker in the homes of other actors before coming into contact with Khan.

Police have confirmed Khan’s arrest and said further investigation is underway.
