‘Detective Ujjwalan’ review: Netizens praise Dhyan’s performance, call it a worthy successor to 'Minnal Murali'

The much-anticipated crime-comedy Detective Ujjwalan, produced by Sophia Paul under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters, hit theatres on Friday and has been receiving enthusiastic responses from moviegoers.

Directed by Indraneel Gopeekrishnan and Rahul G, the film is the second instalment in the Weekend Cinematic Universe following the success of Minnal Murali.

Starring Dhyan Sreenivasan in the titular role, the film also features a talented ensemble cast including Siju Wilson, Kottayam Nazeer, Rony David Raj, and Seema G Nair. The story blends comedy and mystery, creating a unique cinematic experience for fans of the genre.
