Blessy’s commitment is an enduring lesson for future generations: Prithviraj on ‘Aadujeevitham’

Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran described Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life as a "once-in-a-lifetime marvel" while accepting the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Prithviraj reflected on the rarity of a film receiving both critical acclaim and mass appeal. "It is uncommon for a film to enjoy such widespread popularity while also gaining serious recognition. I extend my heartfelt thanks to director Blessy. His dedication to making Aadujeevitham was nothing short of a spiritual pursuit. That commitment, both on and off screen, serves as an enduring lesson for future generations," he said.
This marks the third time Prithviraj has received the State Award for Best Actor. He previously won for his portrayal of J.C. Daniel, the pioneer of Malayalam cinema. Interestingly, he received this latest award on the very day the J.C. Daniel Award – Kerala's highest film honour – was conferred upon director Shaji N. Karun.
Prithviraj expressed his gratitude to the award jury, the audience, and the Malayalam film industry. "I am deeply thankful to the jury who deemed me worthy, to the audience for their love, and to Malayalam cinema, which continues to shape and inspire me," he concluded.
