Speaking in an interview with a YouTube channel, Subbaraj revealed that he shares small ideas for his films with the actor whenever inspiration strikes.
Subbaraj stated that he first shared the ideas for his films "Jigarthanda Double X" and "Mahaan" with Rajinikanth. He recalled that he initially thought it would be great if the character played by Raghava Lawrence were portrayed by Rajinikanth.
After Rajinikanth viewed "Jigarthanda Double X," he called Subbaraj to ask why he hadn’t shared that story with him.
