Actor Bala had often accused his ex-wife, singer Amrutha Suresh, of keeping their daughter away from him after their divorce, even alleging that he was denied the right to meet her. In a recent interview, Bala stated that his rights as a father were being disregarded.

Now, for the first time, his daughter has come forward with allegations against him. She has claimed that what her father is saying is a blatant lie. The child expressed her thoughts in a video shared on Instagram.

"I'm talking about an important issue affecting me, my mother, my aunt, and my grandmother. Honestly, I have no interest in speaking about this. But I am tired of seeing my family suffer. Moreover, this has affected me deeply. There have been false reports about me and my mother. When I go to school, my friends ask me if all of this is true. People think my mother and I are bad, but that's not the truth.

I'm talking about my father. He has said in many interviews that he loves me, misses me terribly, and sends me gifts. None of this is true. I have no reason to love my father. He has mentally and physically tortured me and my family. When I was little, he used to come home drunk and beat up my mother. What could I do? I was just a child.

My mother has taken care of me very well and has never even hit me once. My father harassed my mother a lot. I still remember an incident when he came home very drunk and threw a glass bottle. If my mother hadn’t stopped it, the bottle would have hit my head. He once dragged me from court to Chennai and locked me in a room without giving me food. He didn’t even let me call my mother. Don’t trust such people. Everything he says is a lie," the daughter said.

Responding to his daughter, Bala has now given a reply through instagram. He said he would never argue with his daughter and would never come close to her again.

"I won't argue with you anymore. Anyway, let me point out the positive thing in what you said. You called me 'My Father.' You left me when you were very young. You said you weren't even given food. You should win. When I was bedridden in the hospital, you came only because of pressure from others. It was because you came that I returned to life. If you had told the truth back then, I wouldn’t even be here to talk about this now. I thought I was also a part of your family. If I love you, I should never come near you, that's what I was told. No, I won't come back, not ever again. All the best. Study well and grow up to be a great person," Bala said.
