Back-to-back security breaches at Salman Khan’s home; Woman caught on day two

Mumbai: A 32-year-old woman was detained on Thursday after she attempted to enter Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, marking the second security breach at the actor’s home in just two days.
The woman, identified as Isha Chhabra, reportedly managed to reach the lift area of the apartment complex before being intercepted by the actor’s private security team. She was then handed over to the Bandra police.
According to officials, Chhabra claimed she lived in Khar and had met Salman Khan at a party six months ago. She also alleged that she had come to meet him on his invitation, a claim that has been firmly denied by the actor’s family, as reported by India Today. A case has been registered against her, and investigations are underway.
This comes just a day after a 23-year-old man, Jitendra Kumar Singh from Chhattisgarh, attempted to gain access to the actor’s home. Singh was first seen loitering near the building on Tuesday morning and was asked to leave by police stationed at the site. Later that evening, he managed to enter the building in a car belonging to a resident but was stopped and detained by the police.
Singh told authorities he only wanted to meet the actor and was frustrated after being denied entry.
Both cases are currently being investigated, and Bandra police have filed separate cases in connection with the two incidents.
The back-to-back breaches have raised concerns about the actor’s security, which has already been heightened due to threats from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. In April last year, two men on a bike opened fire outside Galaxy Apartments in what was later revealed to be a warning from Bishnoi’s gang. The gangster has publicly threatened Khan, allegedly seeking revenge for the blackbuck poaching case from the 1990s.
Following the threats, Salman Khan has been under enhanced security. He even greeted fans on Eid this year from behind a bulletproof enclosure. Speaking to the media recently, the actor admitted that constant security can be inconvenient but said he is not afraid and leaves his safety to God.
