‘Bachelor Party D'eux’: Shakthisree Gopalan sings soulful second single ‘Shishiramo’

The musical world of Amal Neerad's upcoming Malayalam film ‘Bachelor Party D'eux’ is getting more intriguing with every release. The makers have unveiled the film's second single, ‘Shishiramo’, a soulful melody featuring vocals by Shakthisree Gopalan.

Composed by Christo Xavier, the track features lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. Released as a lyrical video, ‘Shishiramo’ offers a heartfelt musical experience, following the encouraging response to the film's first single, ‘Vaazhve Maayam’.

Slated to hit theatres worldwide on November 19, ‘Bachelor Party D'eux’ has already generated considerable buzz with its posters and character reveals. The promotional material introduced an ensemble cast featuring Kunchacko Boban, Tovino Thomas, Naslen, Soubin Shahir, Sharafudheen, Sreenath Bhasi, Chandhu Salimkumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Nadiya Moidu, Rajisha Vijayan, Jyothirmayee, Hansika Krishnakumar and Paris Laxmi. The character posters have particularly caught attention for their distinctive styling.

Arriving 14 years after Amal Neerad's 2012 action film ‘Bachelor Party’, the sequel brings together a fresh mix of young performers and established Malayalam cinema stars. Its first-look poster, featuring a striking red-and-gold retro aesthetic, had already created a buzz on social media. With the original film enjoying cult status, expectations surrounding the sequel remain high.

The title ‘D'eux’ is derived from the French word ‘deux’, meaning two, while the expression also carries the sense of 'of them' or 'about them'.

The film is jointly produced by Amal Neerad Productions, Anwar Rasheed Entertainments, and Fahadh Faasil and Friends.

On the technical front, Appu Prabhakar handles cinematography, while Vivek Harshan is in charge of editing. Christo Xavier composes the music, with Unni R writing the dialogues. Tapas Nayak handles sound design, Joseph Nellikkal is the production designer, and costumes are designed by Mashar Hamsa. Ronex Xavier is the makeup artist, while the lyrics are penned by Rafeeq Ahamed and Vinayak Sasikumar. Athira Diljith serves as the PRO.
