Luxury ship, mobile phone ban: All about Anant Ambani’s second pre-wedding celebration

The highly anticipated wedding of Anand Ambani, son of Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, with Radhika Merchant, is set to take place in Mumbai from July 6 to 12. As the wedding date approaches, the Ambani family is ramping up preparations for the second round of pre-wedding celebrations.

Following a series of pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Gujarat from March 1 to 3, the Ambani family has planned another grand celebration. This time, the festivities will take place on a luxury ship. The ship will embark from Sicily, Italy on May 29 and is scheduled to arrive in Switzerland on June 1.

The event on the luxury ship will be an exclusive affair, with only invited guests and close relatives in attendance. To maintain the privacy of the ceremony, mobile phone usage will be restricted. National media reports indicate that over 300 VIPs from around the world, including numerous Bollywood stars, have been invited to join the celebration.

Among the notable celebrities expected to attend are Shah Rukh Khan and family, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, and Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The event will be supported by a crew of 600 members.

Following the three-day celebration aboard the ship, a grand party will be held in London. Currently, except for Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, and Akash Ambani, all other members of the Ambani family are based in London.

The first pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar saw participation from a diverse array of celebrities from around the world. Approximately 1,200 guests, including Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, pop star Rihanna, cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni, and various Bollywood stars, attended the Jamnagar festivities.
