Sharing the announcement, Adhik Ravichandran expressed his gratitude to Ajith Kumar for trusting him once again after 'Good Bad Ugly'. He also thanked Shalini Ajithkumar, who is backing the film under her newly launched production banner, Bravehearts Production.
While reports about Shalini producing Ajith's next project had been circulating for some time, 'Dare Devil' serves as the first official confirmation of her new role behind the camera. The former actor has largely stayed away from the film industry since marrying Ajith in 2000, making this her first professional venture in cinema in more than two decades.

'Dare Devil' also marks Adhik Ravichandran's second consecutive film with Ajith Kumar. Their previous outing, 'Good Bad Ugly', brought the actor and filmmaker together for the first time and was followed by strong audience response. Ahead of the announcement, Adhik had indicated that the new project would take a different approach, describing it as an action entertainer designed with a stronger narrative while also appealing to family audiences.
The makers have not yet announced the film's cast, storyline or technical crew. However, pre-production work has already been completed, and filming is expected to begin following the official launch of the project.
