Ajaneesh Loknath to make Malayalam debut with Cubes Entertainments’ action thriller ‘Kattalan’

Cubes Entertainment and producer Shareef Muhammad, who introduced music director Ravi Basrur, who worked on the big-budget film "K.G.F.", to Malayalam audiences through the blockbuster "Marco," are once again ready to surprise viewers. Ajaneesh Loknath, the acclaimed music director of the pan-Indian hit "Kantara," is set to make his Malayalam debut with Cubes Entertainments' second production, "Kattalan." The film's team recently revealed through a poster that Ajaneesh Loknath will be part of "Kattalan's" thrilling hunt.

Following the success of "Marco," Cubes Entertainment's upcoming film "Kattalan," produced by Shareef Muhammad, stars Antony Varghese Pepe in the lead role, supported by a strong ensemble cast. A recently released poster, highlighting the intense confrontation between man and elephant, has garnered significant attention. The inclusion of the renowned Kannada music director Ajaneesh Loknath in this pan-Indian scale action thriller has raised expectations among audiences.

Ajaneesh Loknath entered the film industry in 2009 with the Kannada film "Shishira." Since then, he has composed notable songs and background scores for Kannada films such as "Akira," "Kirik Party," "Bell Bottom," "Avane Srimannarayana," "Dheera," "Vikrant Rona," "Kantara," "Gandhada Gudi," "Kaiva," "Yuva," and "Bagheera," as well as Tamil films including "Kurangu Bommai," "Richie," "Nimir," "Maharaja," and several Telugu projects. The music of "Kantara," which became a global sensation, brought him widespread acclaim. Ajaneesh is also composing the soundtrack for the upcoming "Kantara Chapter 2," making "Kattalan" the next film to feature his music after that much-anticipated sequel.

Directed by debutant Paul George, the film also reveals that Antony Varghese Pepe appears under his real name, "Antony Varghese," as previously shared in earlier posters. Cubes Entertainments continues its commitment to elevating Malayalam cinema to new heights, not only by providing opportunities to talented artists but also by delivering the technical excellence and production quality seen in "Marco" and beyond.
