Exciting! Suriya to star in Amal Neerad’s bilingual film: Reports

Tamil superstar Suriya, who has a massive fan following in Kerala, has reportedly been offered the lead role in an upcoming Malayalam-Tamil bilingual film directed by Amal Neerad. The latest reports, shared by prominent tracker Let's OTT Global, suggest that the movie will be completed in just 40 days.

While these rumours have excited Malayalam movie fans, reports about a potential collaboration between Suriya and Amal Neerad have been circulating since 2021. Earlier, reports emerged that Amal Neerad has met with Suriya during the latter's movie promotion.

A collaboration between Suriya and Amal Neerad would undoubtedly generate significant excitement among Malayalam moviegoers. Suriya has already announced another film directed by RJ Balaji after his upcoming project with Karthik Subbaraj.

Suriya was last seen in Kanguva, directed by Siva and produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner, along with Vamsi and Pramod of UV Creations. The film was a historical epic set 1,500 years ago. The film features Suriya in the leading role, with Bollywood actor Bobby Deol playing the villain. Disha Patani stars as the female lead, supported by a stellar ensemble cast that includes Yogi Babu, Prakash Raj, KS Ravikumar, Jagapathi Babu, and several others in key roles. The film was released in a record 38 languages globally, marking it as one of the biggest international releases in recent times.
