Actor Sreenivasan shows signs of improvement, reports hospital authority

Kochi: Malayalam actor Sreenivasan who is hospitalised due to heart-related ailments is showing signs of improvement, reported a medical bulletin released by the hospital. The actor is undergoing treatment at a private hospital here from March 30.

“ He is now weaned from the support of a ventilator and from all cardiac supports. He is able to communicate with family members and is in recovering phase,” reads the medical bulletin.

Incidentally, he was confined to the hospital bed when he celebrated his 66th birthday on April 6.

The talented Sreenivasan is an actor, scriptwriter, producer, director and also has dubbed for films during nearly five decades in the industry, that began in 1976. By now, he has around 250 films to his credit.
