‘God had different plan for my Kerala trip’: Actor Shakeela attends temple event as chief guest

Actor Shakeela, who arrived in Kerala as the chief guest of a programme in Thykattu Sree Mahadeva Temple in Vennala, Ernakulam said that she was happy and destined to be in the state.
Speaking at the event, Shakeela said, “It is a destiny that I came here as a guest now. Last time, when I arrived in Kerala, I faced a problem. I was stopped from entering a mall in the city.”
“However, now I understand that God has different plans. There would hardly be 200 or 300 people gathered in the mall to see me. But here, I am seeing thousands of eyes. This was destined for me by Lord Shiva,” she added.
In November 2022, Shakeela was the chief guest of the trailer launch of Omar Lulu’s ‘Nalla Samayam’ at a mall in Kozhikode. However, the event got cancelled and Lulu alleged that the mall authorities cancelled the launch since Shakeela was the guest.
Following which, the mall authorities responded that they declined permission for the event because of security issues. They claimed that they had informed Omar Lulu and the team that permission will be granted if they strengthen the security arrangements.
