Actor Sangeeth Prathapan recovering after accident; dismisses rumours of suing driver

Actor Sangeeth Prathapan said that he is recovering well after the recent car accident that occurred during a film shoot, dismissing rumours of legal action against the driver. Sangeeth shared the updates via his social media handles.

"Dear all, We met with an accident yesterday and thankfully we are all safe. I was under observation for the last 24 hours and will leave hospital tomorrow. Thanks to the almighty, I have a minor injury but I feel better now. Thank you for all the love and concerns, I am sorry that I haven't been able to reply to your calls and messages. I am safe now and would need few days of rest, for complete recovery. Also I want to clear all rumors including the case I've registered against the driver, there hasn't been any such case from my side. P. S: Hope i would get back to my favourite place; shooting sets! Bromance production will continue within days and we will hit big screens soon! Sangeeth Prathap," said the post

The accident happened while filming a chase scene for 'Bromance.' The car with the actors inside and driven by the stunt master, toppled over, striking two bikes parked on the road and injuring two bikers. The vehicle, which went out-of-control, hit another car. It also collided with the bike of a food delivery boy parked nearby.

Five people, including popular actors Arjun Ashokan, Sangeeth Prathap and Mathew Thomas, were injured in a car accident in Kochi. The incident occurred on the sets of the film ‘Bromance’ on MG Road at 1:30 am. The actors were rushed to the hospital after sustaining minor injuries.

Following the accident, the shooting of the film was halted. CCTV visuals of the accident have also been released. The Central Police have already registered a case for overspeeding in the incident.
