I wish for a marriage without divorce: Abhirami Suresh opens up after Amrutha's painful split

Singer Abhirami Suresh recently shared her thoughts on marriage, revealing her fears and desires in a candid conversation with her sister, Amrutha Suresh, on the YouTube channel Amrutam Gamay. The two were answering questions from their fans when Abhirami opened up about her views on relationships and the idea of marriage.
"I am very much interested in marriage, but I have a fear. I wish for a marriage without divorce. I don’t know if that will happen—it depends on my destiny," Abhirami said.
She went on to explain that her sister’s past experience with marriage has made her apprehensive about taking the plunge herself. "After my sister’s experience, I’m scared of marriage. One wrong choice can destroy many things," she added, hinting at the difficult times Amrutha Suresh has gone through in her marriage.
Abhirami further elaborated on her concerns, saying, "Separation with mutual respect is one thing, but what if I fall in love with someone who turns out to hunt and destroy you after the separation? That’s why I’m scared."
The comments come amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Amrutha Suresh’s past marriage to her ex-husband, Bala, which had been widely discussed in the media. Abhirami, however, expressed her desire to marry one day, despite her fears. "I want to get married. It will happen someday," she said optimistically.
During the conversation, Abhirami also shared her thoughts on her sister Amrutha's challenges. She expressed confusion over why people had turned against Amrutha, saying, "She is a person who doesn’t harm anyone. I don’t understand why so many people hated her."
Amrutha, in turn, spoke about the impact of her troubled marriage on their family. "My family has suffered a lot and been dragged into this for 14 years," she said. "Now that people are beginning to see that I was innocent in all of this, I finally feel a sense of relief."
