Kerala woman turns 108, dreams of seeing actor Mammootty in person

Vyttila (Kochi): A 108-year-old woman in Kerala has expressed her wish to meet veteran actor Mammootty.
The woman, identified as Philomina, shared her long-cherished desire during her 108th birthday celebrations with family and local residents.
According to relatives, Philomina has been a lifelong fan of Mammootty. She voiced her wish after seeing a photograph of her grandson with the actor.
Philomina first made headlines at the age of 105 when she received a pacemaker. Her 108th birthday celebration was organised by the 'Njangalund Koode' Palliative Care Unit.
The event was inaugurated by Palliative Care senior Dr Geetha, who cut a cake and presented it to Philomina.
Guests, including Palliative Care President AN Sajeevan, Blood Donation Forum District President Rajeev Menon, Mahila Congress Block President Lija Francis, K Ramankutty, and theatre legend Jose Maliyekkal, who dressed as Maveli, extended their greetings. Fr. Joy Ayanyadan, Fr. Alex Tejas and Lalsalam Road Residence Association President M K Sajeevan also participated. Philomina’s son, Johny, thanked everyone for attending.
