Kolkata: Nandini Dutta's journey on Bigg Boss Bangla has ended after host Sourav Ganguly pulled her up for allegedly breaking one of the show's most important rules.

Dutta, who wasn't even nominated for eviction this week, was asked to leave the house after a stern reprimand during Saturday's episode of Dadar Darbar.

Her exit comes just a week after she made a dramatic return to the main house following a stint in the secret room.

Dutta had initially been shown the exit door but was secretly moved to a separate room, where she stayed for 48 hours before rejoining the other contestants with special powers.

However, her second innings in the house proved controversial. Following her return, Dutta's conduct became a major talking point among viewers, with several social media users criticising her behaviour.

From the controversy surrounding a missing ring to her heated exchanges involving Srijla Guha and Rajveer Dey, Dutta repeatedly found herself at the centre of arguments.

Her relationship with Rajveer also drew attention, particularly after several heated confrontations between them.

Dutta was repeatedly accused of getting physical with Rajveer during arguments. Despite Dey asking her on multiple occasions not to hit him, similar incidents reportedly continued.

Some of these confrontations were also featured in the show's regular episodes, apart from the live stream.

The controversy took a decisive turn during Saturday's Dadar Darbar, when Ganguly addressed the complaints he had received from viewers about Dutta's behaviour.

‘Many people have messaged me saying that Nandini's behaviour has become unbearable to watch,’ Sourav said.

The former Indian cricket captain then reminded Dutta that the fundamental rule of the Bigg Boss house was that contestants must not physically hurt one another.

He stressed that the show strictly prohibited physical aggression. The host did not mince words as he explained how he would have reacted if other contestants had been involved in similar incidents.

‘If Jitu, Durnibar, Rajveer or Sourav had done something like this, I would have said that someone should enter the Bigg Boss house, grab them by the collar and throw them out. Then they should be sent back to Kolkata by train. However, Nandini, you are much younger than me, so I cannot be that harsh with you,’ he said.

Following the reprimand, Dutta was asked to leave the house. The other contestants gathered to bid her goodbye. Dey gave her chocolates, while Saha presented her with a gift.

Before walking out, Dutta told Dey she would wait for him outside the house and said she hoped he would return as the show's winner.

Her eviction marks an eventful end to a journey that had already witnessed a secret-room twist, heated confrontations and considerable social media backlash.
