‘Met you at 20, Married you at 30!’: Ahaana Krishna marries Nimish Ravi; shares first wedding pictures

After months of curiosity around their relationship, Ahaana Krishna and Nimish Ravi have finally made it official. The actor and cinematographer are married, and both took to Instagram to share their first wedding pictures with their followers.

Ahaana shared a series of pictures from the celebrations along with a heartfelt note for Nimish. Calling him her “best friend, boyfriend, partner” and “soul-mate”, she wrote about beginning a new chapter together and growing old as a team.

“My Best Friend, Boy Friend, Partner, Soul-Mate, Comfort Pillow, Cup Cake and now Husband!” Ahaana wrote. She also thanked the people who worked behind the scenes to make her wedding celebrations look the way she had imagined.

Nimish shared a shorter but equally personal post. “My best friend, now my wife. 13 September 2026,” he wrote alongside pictures from the wedding.

The couple's wedding celebrations were held in Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram. Reports had earlier suggested that the celebrations would span three days, beginning on September 13, followed by a reception on September 15. The reception is being held at Subramaniam Hall at Trivandrum Club.

The wedding had been the subject of considerable curiosity among Ahaana's fans for weeks. Before the couple made things official, social media users had been speculating about their relationship and wedding date. Ahaana's earlier Instagram post referring to her “Thangamaana Paiyyan” had further fuelled the discussion.

Ahaana and Nimish had not publicly confirmed their relationship at the time, although their close friendship had been known for years.

From Luca to life partners

The two also share a professional connection. Nimish was the cinematographer of ‘Luca’, the 2019 Malayalam film in which Ahaana played the female lead opposite Tovino Thomas. Their association continued through the years, with Nimish also working on ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’, in which Ahaana made a guest appearance.

Nimish has established himself as one of the prominent young cinematographers in Malayalam cinema. His credits include films such as ‘Kurup’, ‘Rorschach’, ‘King of Kotha’, ‘Lucky Baskhar’, ‘Bazooka’, ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’ and ‘Vishwanath & Sons’.

His work on Kurup also earned him a SIIMA Award for Best Cinematographer in Malayalam.

Ahaana, meanwhile, made her acting debut with Rajeev Ravi's ‘Njan Steve Lopez’. She went on to appear in films including ‘Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela’, ‘Pathinettam Padi’, ‘Adi’, ‘Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum’ and ‘Nancy Rani’.

The wedding comes after months of public interest surrounding Ahaana and Nimish. Earlier this year, Ahaana's father, actor Krishna Kumar, had also spoken about his daughter's plans to get married soon, without publicly naming Nimish as her partner.

With their wedding pictures now out, Ahaana and Nimish have made their new chapter official.
