Dhurandhar first look OUT: Internet goes gaga over Ranveer Singh’s unrecognisable avatar

Mumbai: The wait is finally over! On Ranveer Singh’s birthday, the team behind Dhurandhar dropped the explosive first look of the actor—and it’s nothing short of electric.

The high-octane clip showcases Singh in an intense, rugged avatar: long hair flowing, throwing fierce punches, brawling with gangs of men, and firing guns with cold precision. Adding to the raw vibe, Ranveer is seen puffing on cigarettes in a few shots—evoking a wild, Kabir Singh-like charisma—while donning stylish pathani suits that scream badassery.

Directed by ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ (2019) filmmaker Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar also features a powerhouse supporting cast: Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. Their brooding first looks were revealed in the same adrenaline-pumping teaser, set to the beats of a fiery Punjabi track.

Interestingly, sources close to the production shared that Singh himself watched this final first-look video for the very first time on Sunday. “Aditya wanted to keep it a total surprise—even for Ranveer,” an insider told News18. “Though Ranveer had glimpsed some early footage, the final, full-throttle reveal was timed perfectly with his birthday to make it unforgettable.”

Singh, clearly thrilled, took to social media to share the teaser, writing: “An Inferno will rise. Uncover the true story of The Unknown Men.”

The actor had earlier promised fans a special treat with this film, saying: “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamouring for a turn like this… a cinematic experience like never before. This time, it’s personal.”
