Vidhu Vincent

Director and journalist hailing from Kollam. Vidhu Vincent worked in Asianet News and Media One. Her debut movie is ‘Manhole’ which was created as a continuation of the 2014 documentary ‘The Caste of Cleanliness’.

‘Manhole’ won the FIPRESCI Award and Silver Crow Pheasant Award for the Best Debut Director at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) in 2016 and the Kerala State Film Award for best film and best director in 2016. Her second movie ‘Stand Up’ was released in 2020.
