Gopinath Muthukad

Gopinath Muthukad is a renowned magician. Hailing from Malappuram, he graduated in Mathematics. He started practicing magic from the age of 10. He has been active in professional magic since 1985. In 1996, he set up the first ever Magic Academy in Asia.

He has bagged many awards such as the special honour of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka Akademi Award, International Magic Star – Paris, Prathibha Pranamam Award of Kerala Government and the International Merlin Award instituted by the International Magicians' Society which is considered as the Oscar of Magic.

‘Ormakalude Manthrika Sparsham’ is his autobiography. Magic Magic, Magic Enth Engane, Vazhakkunnam Indrajala Kathakal, Ganitharamante Kusruthikal and Ee Kathayilumundoru Magic are his noted works.
