Methil Devika

Methil Devika is a famous dancer. She is a relative of writer Methil Radhakrishnan and late litterateur VKN. She has completed MBA from Madras University, MA in Fine Arts from Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata and PhD in dance from Bharatidasan University.

At present, she is a dance teacher at Kerala Kalamandalam and the director of Sripada Natya Kalari in Palakkad. She has also served as a member of Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka Akademi. She has won many honours including Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka Akademi Award, Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Award, Devadasi National Award and Nirod Baran Award.
