Adv. G. R. Anil

Advocate G. R. Anil has been Thiruvananthapuram district secretary of CPI for four years. This is the second time he has been selected for the post. He has worked as the assistant district secretary for over seven years and has been a party state council member for the past ten years.

Anil has also worked as the district secretary of AISF, AIYF and Kisan Sabha and state working committee member of AITUC. He has been the director board member of Aushadhi and director of Hantex.

He was the councillor of Nemam ward in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation for ten years. For five years, he was the chairman of education-health standing committee. He has also won the state award for best councillor. Anil’s wife is Dr. R. Lathadevi is an Ex MLA.
