Wayanad ecotourism centers reopening: See visitor limits, ticket prices, other essential details!
Kalpetta: Ecotourism centres in Wayanad are reopening following an interim order from the Kerala High Court. Exciting destinations like Kuruva Island, Chembra Peak, Soochipara Falls, Banasura Hills, Meenmutty Falls, and trekking spots at Kattukunnu and Anachola will soon welcome visitors.
The decision to reopen these locations was made during a meeting led by the northern circle Chief Forest Conservator K. Deepa. In line with the court's order, new entry fees will be introduced, and the number of visitors will be limited to ensure a better experience for everyone.
Starting October 15, tourists will be allowed to visit Kuruva Island. Entry to Chembra Peak, Banasura Hills, Meenmutty Falls, Kattukunnu, and Anachola trekking will begin on October 21. Soochipara Falls is set to open on November 1.
