Marayur, Vattavada, Ramakkalmedu, Vagamon… Travel and enjoy the mist with KSRTC

Kottayam: In the mist-laden month of December, KSRTC has arranged special travel opportunities. As part of its budget tourism initiative, KSRTC has organised trips that allow travellers to enjoy the beauty of fog on starry nights, celebrate Christmas and New Year, and welcome the New Year in a festive atmosphere.

Trips have mostly been arranged to places such as Ponmudi, Thenmala, Kappukadu, Azhimala, Kovalam–Malakkappara, Chathurangappara, Mamalakandam, Marayur, Vattavada, Ramakkalmedu and Vagamon. In addition to ‘See Ashtamudi’, Gavi and boat cruises, packages have also been arranged for Sivagiri pilgrimage, Pandalam Temple, Kottarakkara Ganapathy Temple, Thiruvairanikulam, and Ayyappa darshan.

District Coordinator Prasanth Velikkakam said that the trips have been scheduled mainly during Christmas and holiday periods. KSRTC has also made preparations to arrange New Year travel facilities in January.
