How to obtain Pollution Under Control certificate

A Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate is an official document that certifies a vehicle’s emissions comply with legally acceptable limits. Introduced by the government to curb pollution, this certification ensures that vehicles operate within environmentally safe emission standards, helping reduce the country's carbon footprint. Authorised emission testing centers across India issue the PUC certificate. It is mandatory for vehicle owners to obtain and carry this certificate at all times while driving on Indian roads.
