Katrina Kaif may be making fewer public appearances these days, but her fashion choices continue to make an impression. The actor recently stepped out in London to celebrate the UK launch anniversary of her beauty brand, Kay Beauty, at luxury retailer Space NK. For the occasion, she embraced an understated brown ensemble that offers plenty of inspiration for the winter wardrobe.
Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Kaif wore separates from Swedish luxury label Toteme, bringing together contemporary tailoring and an unconventional silhouette. The highlight of the outfit was a light brown skirt featuring a dhoti-inspired design. The draped construction and carefully manipulated fabric created a voluminous hemline, lending the otherwise minimal look an interesting shape.
She paired the skirt with a dark brown, single-breasted flannel blazer featuring a detachable scarf. A slip top underneath kept the layered ensemble sleek, while the tonal combination of browns created a cohesive, season-appropriate look. The mix of fluid draping and structured tailoring also offered a fresh take on winter dressing.
The accessories stayed within the outfit’s muted colour palette. Kaif wore brown boots from Milan-based label Paris Texas and sunglasses by London eyewear designer Linda Farrow. An oblong black shoulder bag from DeMellier added a subtle contrast to the earthy tones.
Her beauty look followed the same pared-back approach. The actor opted for understated makeup, with pink lips, a hint of blush and fresh, hydrated-looking skin. Her hair was styled in loose waves that cascaded down to her waist, completing the effortless finish.

With its combination of a sculptural skirt, classic tailoring and carefully chosen accessories, Kaif’s ensemble demonstrates how tonal dressing can feel distinctive without relying on bold colours or elaborate styling.
