KSRTC begins new sightseeing service to Kanthalloor

Munnar: The Kerala Road Transport Corporation has begun another sightseeing service in here.

The bus carrying tourists starts at 9.30 am from Munnar KSRTC old depot and visits 8th mile, Lakkam waterfalls, Marayur Sandal Reserve, Muniyaras and reach Kanthalloor in the evening.

Facilities are arranged for sightseeing and fruits and vegetables farm visits for tourists. Later the bus returns to Munnar by 5 pm.

The one day fare of the journey is Rs 300.

The KSRTC sightseeing service to Top Station that began on January 1, 2021 had been a big hit. Following this, it was decided to begin another service to popular destinations like Marayur and Kanthalloor.

The Top Station sightseeing service collected an income of Rs 2,61,300 in one month. The one way trip to Top Station costs Rs 250. Accommodation facility has been arranged in KSRTC buses at the depot for Rs 100 per night.

There are 48 berths available in 3 buses for night stay.
