Entries invited for Mathrubhumi Weekly Vishu Edition literary competition

Kozhikode: The last date of the literary competition for the ‘Vishu’ Special Edition of Mathrubhumi Weekly has been extended till March 15. The competition is conducted for picking talented college students who are skilled in writing stories and poems.

Students of regular, parallel and professional colleges are eligible for the competition. Only stories and poems written in Malayalam will be considered. Stories should not exceed 10 foolscap pages and poems should not exceed 60 lines.

The creative works selected for first, second and third places in both categories will be awarded cash prize worth Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.

The entries should be sent along with the form issued in the Mathrubhumi Weekly from February onwards. Considering the COVID situation, students only need to include a self-attested copy of their college identity card.
