The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced that the WB Madhyamik Result 2026 will be declared on Friday, May 8.

The board confirmed that the Class 10 examination results will be officially released at 9.30 am, bringing an end to the anxious wait of lakhs of students across the state.

Candidates who appeared for the Madhyamik examinations this year will be able to access their results online from 10.15 am onwards through the official websites, including WBBSE and WBBS Education Data Portal.

Apart from the official portals, results will also be available on other partnered result websites.

The board has also informed schools that original marksheets and pass certificates can be collected from the respective camp offices from 10.30 am on the day of result declaration.

Schools are expected to distribute the documents to students soon after receiving them.

How to check WB Madhyamik Result 2026

  • Click on the “WB Madhyamik Result 2026” link on the homepage.
  • Enter the required login credentials.
  • Submit the details to view the result.
  • Download the scorecard and keep a printed copy for future reference.

The Madhyamik examinations for 2026 were conducted in February. The exams began on February 2 with the first language paper and concluded on February 12 with optional elective subjects.

According to the schedule released earlier by the board, examinations were held in a single shift from 10.45 am to 2 pm every day.

Students were also given the first 15 minutes exclusively for reading the question paper before writing began.

Last year, the Madhyamik results were announced on May 3 and recorded an overall pass percentage of 86.56 per cent.

Aditro Sarkar from Rajganj emerged as the state topper after scoring 696 out of 700 marks in the examination.

With the result announcement just hours away, students and parents across West Bengal are eagerly waiting for the official declaration of scores.
