UPPSC APO Prelims Admit Card 2026 released; Exam on March 22

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the admit cards for the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Preliminary Examination 2026. Candidates who have registered for the recruitment test can now download their hall tickets from the official website.
The admit cards were issued on March 12, 2026, under Advertisement No. A-8/E-1/2025. Applicants will need their One Time Registration (OTR) number and date of birth to access and download the admit card.
The UPPSC APO Prelims 2026 is scheduled to be held on March 22, 2026, in a single shift from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.
The examination will be conducted across eight districts in Uttar Pradesh, including Aligarh, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Meerut, Prayagraj and Varanasi.
Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centre one hour and 30 minutes before the exam begins, while entry will close 45 minutes prior to the start of the examination.
Aspirants must carry the following documents to the exam centre:
- Printed copy of the admit card
- Two passport-size photographs
- One original identity proof along with a photocopy
Candidates without these documents will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
Selection Process
The recruitment process for the Assistant Prosecution Officer posts consists of three stages:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Interview
Only candidates who clear the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the Main examination.
Through this recruitment drive, the commission aims to fill 182 Assistant Prosecution Officer vacancies.

- Visit the official website Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission at uppsc.up.nic.in
- Go to the Candidate Corner section on the homepage
- Click on the Download Admit Card option
- Select the UP APO Admit Card 2026 link
- Enter the OTR number and date of birth
- Download the admit card and take a printout for the exam day.
