Regional Cancer Centre Thiruvananthapuram announces advanced training programs for 2025-26

Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for admission to various Advanced Training Programs for 2025-26 to be conducted at the Centre.

Advanced Training Programs are offered in (i) Operation Theatre Technology, (ii) Clinical Laboratory Technology, and (iii) Microbiology. All Programs are of one-year duration.

Eligibility, seat availability and Stipend per month for different Programs are as follows:

(i) Advanced Training Programme in Operating Theatre Technology (4 seats): Applicant should hold a BSc degree in Operating Theatre Technology from a recognised University or institution, OR a Diploma in Operating Theatre Technology (DOTT) Course of Kerala Govt. Stipend will be Rs. 10,000/- per month.

(ii) Advanced Training in Clinical Laboratory Technology (8 seats): Applicant should hold an I or II Class BSc MLT Degree from an institution recognised by any University in Kerala, OR an I or II Class BSc. Degree in the Life Sciences/Zoology/ Botany/Biochemistry/Chemistry from an institution recognised by any University in Kerala and DMLT from an Institution recognised by the DME Kerala. Stipend will be Rs. 10,000/- per month .

(iii) Advanced Training in Microbiology: (5 seats): Applicant should hold an MSc Microbiology/ MSc M LT from Kerala University or from any other University recognised by Kerala University. Stipend: Rs. 8,000/- per month

Upper Age Limit will be 35 years as on 01.01.2025 for all Programs.

Upper Age Limit: 35 years as on 01/01/2025.

Application fee for each is Rs 300/- (Rs 150/- for SC/ST candidates) to be paid by way of DD, to be drawn in favour of the Director, Regional Cancer Centre, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Completed application and DD along with self-attested copies of Certificates to prove Age, Caste, Qualification, Experience, etc. should reach the Additional Director [Additional Director (Academic) in case of Clinical Laboratory Technology], Regional Cancer Centre, Medical College PO, Thiruvananthapuram - 695011 on or before 13.12.2025.
