Online Course in Book Publishing of National Book Trust India: Apply by January 15
National Book Trust India, Ministry of Education, Government of India has invited applications for, admission to the Online Course in Book Publishing to be conducted from 21 January to 30 April 2023.
The Course aims to create a pool of trained professionals for the publishing industry and for the benefit of students/learners across the country.
Medium of instruction will be English. Classes will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on every Saturday and Sunday. There will be 56 sessions in 28 days.
The successful completion of the course will include project work and an internship at a publishing house by the participant. The results will be based on internal assessment, attendance, project work, and internship. Internships are to be done in April/ May 2023 in any publishing house anywhere in the country. Study/Practical projects are to be submitted before 31 May 2023. A certificate of participation shall be given to the participants, who successfully attend all the classes.
The course is open to graduates and above who are directly or indirectly related to the publishing industry and are inclined to learn how to make a career in the field.
Admission will be made on the basis of Statement of Purpose and proof for applicant’s inclination to Book Publishing.
The course fee would be Rs. 5,900/- inclusive of 18% GST Charge. It can be paid online as per the details given at the Program link at https://www.nbtindia.gov.in/

After filling it up, applicant should make a PDF of it and send it by e-mail to nbtpublishingcourse@gmail.com. Copies of degree certificate, proof of address and date of birth and recent passport size photograph should be scanned and attached to the mail. The transaction id of payment, account holders name, bank and branch should be mentioned in the application form.
