NTA releases CMAT 2026 provisional answer keys, opens challenge window

National Testing Agency (NTA) has displayed the Provisional Answer Keys and Question Papers with Recorded Responses for Answer Key Challenge of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)-2026.

NTA conducted CMAT 2026 on 25 January 2026 in single shift in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across the Country for 53453 registered Candidates.

The Provisional Answer Key(s) along with the Question Papers with Recorded Responses are available at https://cmat.nta.nic.in/ for interested candidates to challenges.

The procedure for the challenge of the Answer Key is given as Annexure I to the Notice issued in this regard, available at the website.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the Provisional Answer Key may challenge the same by paying a fee of Rs. 200/- per question challenged as a non- refundable processing fee up to 11.50 pm on 02.02.2026.

The payment of the processing fee may be made through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI. The fee for the challenge will not be accepted through any other mode.

No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee.

Challenges made by candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.

Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared.

No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge.
