Meet Nandini Agrawal, youngest chartered accountant in the world

Nandini Agrawal has scripted history by becoming the youngest woman in the world to clear the Chartered Accountancy (CA) examination, earning a place in the Guinness World Records.

A native of Morena in Madhya Pradesh, Nandini’s academic journey has been marked by exceptional achievements from an early age. She cleared her Class 10 board exams at just 13 and completed Class 12 by 15, showcasing a rare aptitude for academics and numbers.

Determined to pursue Chartered Accountancy, she went on to top the CA Final examination in 2021 with 614 out of 800 marks (76.75 per cent), securing the All India Rank 1 among over 83,000 candidates. She achieved the milestone at the age of 19 years, 8 months, and 18 days, according to the India Book of Records.

Academic excellence runs in the family, with her elder brother Sachin also securing an All India Rank 18 in the same examination year with 568 marks.

Reflecting on her journey, Nandini has highlighted her achievements in her LinkedIn profile, stating, "Chartered Accountant (with B.Com) who has made a national record by getting AIR 1 in CA Finals at 19 years and AIR 31 in CA Inter at 16. I started my corporate journey with PwC as an article trainee and have been part of various dynamic teams and work cultures. I have three years of experience working in statutory audits, group reporting, referred reporting, IFRS assignments, tax audits, and forensic audits."

Beyond academics, she has built a strong professional and digital presence. She has worked with leading global firms and is now also a content creator with over 600,000 followers across platforms, sharing insights on CA preparation, financial literacy and investment strategies.
