Joint Admission for Architecture and Planning PG at SPA
Applications have been invited for admission to various postgraduate degree courses at three Institutions; namely; School of Planning and Architecture; New Delhi, School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal and School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, for the Academic Session 2025-26 under the scheme of Joint Admission for Architecture and Planning - Post Graduate (JAAP-PG) 2025.
Postgraduate Degree Programs offered by the 3 SPAs:
(a) School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi: Master of Architecture - Architectural Conservation/Landscape Architecture/Urban Design; Master of Building Engineering and Management; Master of Design -Industrial Design; Master of Planning- Environmental Planning/Housing/ Regional Planning/ Transport Planning/Urban Planning
(b) School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal: Master of Architecture- Conservation/ Landscape Architecture/ Urban Design; Master of Planning -Environmental Planning/Transport Planning and Logistics Management/Urban and Regional Planning; Master of Building Engineering and Management (MBEM); Master of Design
(c) School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada: Master of Architecture- Sustainable Architecture/ Landscape Architecture / Architectural Conservation; Master of Building Engineering and Management (MBEM); Master of Urban Design, Master of Planning- Environmental Planning and Management/ Urban and Regional Planning/ Transport and Infrastructure Planning; Master of Design
Minimum qualifying marks: Applicant should have secured at least 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA at the qualifying examination (50% marks or 5.5 CGPA for SC/ST/ PwD).

Selection: Selection of candidates shall be based on: (i) Performance in Qualifying Examination (ii) Valid GATE/CEED/UGC-NET Score, as applicable (iii) Physical Interaction, and (iv) Work Experience
Application: Online applications can be submitted at https://jaappg.admissions.nic.in/ up to 30th May 2025.
Application fee is Rs. 3,000/-. (Rs. 1500/- for SC, ST, and PwD categories)
Candidate can exercise any number of choices based on eligibility for the course applied for in any of the Institutions. Candidates in final year may submit mark sheet / transcript/ grade sheet till the pre-final year. In such cases, all admissions shall be provisional subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria after receiving the final result in the qualifying examination.
Foreign Nationals/ NRI/ PIO/OCI seeking admission in any of the Postgraduate Courses shall apply separately through DASA 2025 portal.
List of eligible applicants for Interaction will be displayed on 04th June 2025.
Physical Interaction (may include interviews, portfolio assessment, group discussions, essay writing on specific topic, SoP and exam etc.) will be held at SPA Delhi during 16th June 2025 - 21st June 2025.
Result will be announced and Rank List displayed on 26th June 2025.
Seat Allotment and Various Rounds of Counselling will be during 26th June 2025 to 21st July 2025.
Institutions reserve the right to give admissions up to 10% of the intake as supernumerary seats.
GATE/UGC-NET qualified and CEED qualified candidates having valid Score Card shall be eligible for the scholarship.
Sponsored candidates from Government organizations, quasi-Government organizations, PSUs should apply through proper channel and the Selection Criteria for such candidates may be relaxed as decided by the Selection Committee considering the suitability of the candidate on case-to-case basis. Such candidates shall apply separately through the websites of respective Institutions.
