JIPMAT 2026 registration open: Apply for IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu 5-year IPM

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened online registration for the 2026 Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT), the primary entrance portal for the five-year management programs at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) in Bodh Gaya and Jammu.
The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is designed to cultivate socially responsible leaders by blending a social sciences foundation with advanced management training. The curriculum focuses on developing linguistic proficiency, oral communication, ethical awareness, and physical health.
Eligibility and Requirements
Prospective students must have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examinations in the arts, commerce, or science streams during 2024 or 2025, or be currently enrolled to sit for the exam in 2026. Additionally, candidates must have passed their Class 10 examinations in or after 2022.
The NTA advises applicants to consult the specific websites of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu, as individual institutional requirements may vary.
Examination Structure
JIPMAT 2026 is scheduled as a computer-based test on June 7, 2026, running from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions across three sections:
- Quantitative Aptitude: 33 questions
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning: 33 questions
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: 34 questions
Each correct response earns four marks, while a single mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. In the event of a technical error resulting in a dropped question, all candidates will receive full marks regardless of whether they attempted it. If an answer key is revised after the challenge period, only those aligning with the updated key will receive credit.
Application Details and Fees
The deadline for online applications is 11:50 p.m. on May 10, 2026, via the official portal at https://exams.nta.nic.in/jipmat/. Submitting a JIPMAT application automatically considers the candidate for both participating IIMs, provided they meet the respective eligibility criteria.
The fee structure for domestic test centres is as follows:
- General/OBC: ₹2,200
- EWS/SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: ₹1,100
- International Centres: ₹11,000 for all categories
Fees must be settled through digital payment methods by 11:50 p.m. on May 11, 2026.
Timeline and Post-Exam Process
Candidates may modify their application details during a designated correction window from May 12 through May 14. Following the exam, the NTA will transmit scores directly to IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu, which will then manage their independent admission procedures.
Further announcements regarding admit cards, testing venues, and final results will be posted on the NTA website.
