IIST Summer Internship Programme
Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Valiyamala, Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for the IIST Summer Internship Programme 2025.
The Programs gives an opportunity to talented interns to come to IIST to work with faculty on interesting short-term projects.
The summer internship period in IIST is from 02 June 2025 to 20 July 2025.
Areas: A wide variety of topics are available for the internship from the fields of Aerospace, Avionics, Chemistry, Earth & Space Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Physics.

Faculty name can be clicked to access the webpage of the faculty. For clarifications, one may contact the faculty supervisor for that topic.
Students at various stages in BTech, BS-MS, MSc, and other programmes from reputed institutions can apply for the Internship Program.
The internship of 2025 does not have fellowships. However, boarding and lodging will be provided at nominal rates of Rs 125/- (for a base meal) and Rs 50/-, respectively, per day, depending on the availability of the hostel rooms. Interns must pay a nominal amount of Rs 100/- towards certain administrative charges when they join for an internship. Each intern will be given a temporary identity card to access various facilities in IIST.
Interns will be provided certificates for completed internships.

Application: Application can be submitted online at the link provided at https://admission.iist.ac.in//internship/ latest by 21 April, 2025. Before applying, applicant must identify the topics of his/her interest, and for which he/she is eligible. The topic code and the title may be noted.
The names of short-listed candidates will be published in the website on 30th April 2025 (tentative) and the candidates will be informed by email.
