IIMK LIVE (Laboratory for Innovation Venturing and Entrepreneurship), the incubator of IIM Kozhikode, has announced seed funding support to three startups under the National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations – Seed Support Program (NIDHI-SSP). The programme is a flagship initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the Vigyan Dhara Scheme.

In this funding round, three startups — Perfectfit Systems Pvt. Ltd., Skeyebots Pvt. Ltd., and Carrus Mobility Pvt. Ltd. — have collectively received close to ₹1 crore. The funding is aimed at helping them accelerate prototype development, refine business models, and prepare for market entry.

Perfectfit Systems Pvt. Ltd. is a deep-tech startup focused on intelligent product digitisation through patented 3D scanning and AI-driven content automation solutions. Skeyebots Pvt. Ltd. is engaged in the design and development of autonomous, AI-driven robotic surveillance systems. Carrus Mobility Pvt. Ltd. is building sustainable cold-chain logistics solutions using battery-electric, solar-powered, and AI-enabled refrigeration technologies.

The NIDHI-SSP programme supports innovation-led startups by providing early-stage seed funding to enable product validation and market readiness. Through this initiative, IIMK LIVE seeks to bridge the gap between ideation and commercialisation, supporting scalable and sustainable technology ventures.

Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode, said, “Innovation thrives when ideas are supported at the right moment. Through IIMK LIVE and the NIDHI-SSP programme, we are committed to empowering entrepreneurs at a critical early stage of their journey, helping them convert technological ingenuity into solutions that create economic and societal value. This initiative reflects IIM Kozhikode’s larger mission of fostering responsible, innovation-driven entrepreneurship in India.”

The seed funding award ceremony was held recently in the presence of senior representatives from IIMK LIVE, including Prof. Ashutosh Sarkar, Executive Director of IIMK LIVE. Formal agreements were signed with the selected startups to initiate funding disbursement and structured mentorship.

As an approved NIDHI-SSP incubator, IIMK LIVE continues to focus on technology commercialisation and supporting startups that contribute to inclusive economic growth and societal impact.
